General Sir Peter is a Senior Advisor at BOKA and a retired general of the British Army, having served as Chief of the General Staff from 2010 to 2014. His senior leadership roles included Commander-in-Chief, Land Command, and Director of Operations at the Ministry of Defence, where he was responsible for the conduct of UK military operations and force readiness during a period of extensive global engagement. Since leaving the military, Sir Peter has served as an independent director of the General Dynamics Corporation and founded Amicus, a leadership and change consultancy advising complex public and private sector organisations. He is a trustee of the Normandy Memorial Trust. At BOKA, Sir Peter provides independent strategic insight into defense capability, force modernization, and national security priorities. He supports the firm and its portfolio companies through informed analysis of operating environments, capability requirements, and long-term strategic trends, helping management teams and investors understand how defense and allied security considerations shape market adoption and commercial outcomes.
